Park Edge

This project was a fun one…. We helped a really design-savvy couple to build a wonderful space within their sanctuary-like back yard. The lot is nestled within the historic quarry along Hoyt Park - the modern home and Aspen installed bluestone patio space create a perfect foil to the natural beauty of the space. As part of the project, truckloads of rugged natural stone was hauled in to create natural seeming walls and staircases. Our friend John helped with the stonework which was a great help.

Sometimes simplicity is the best. The simple lines of the thermal treated bluestone patio create a perfect, calming space. We played with multiple design ideas to subdivide the area before moving forward with this simple, clean look.
