Forested Fitchburg

This was a really special project.…. Working within a forest oasis, we helped a design-conscious gardener to build wonderful new spaces and access - connecting the home and landscape in a really beautiful way. The property includes numerous mature trees which we carefully worked (and designed) around. The design combined local fieldstone boulders harvested from a previous landscape project with truckloads of bluestone, and a few varieties of Wisconsin limestone. The weathered limestone boulders add an incredible natural contrast to the crisp geometry of the dimensional bluestone.
