Shorewood Hillside

This project involved a complete renovation of the rear and side yards of this home. The existing concrete block walls, which were failing, and an old concrete patio were removed to make way for a more functional and beautiful design.

Given the sloping grade toward the home, we opted to build a deck to create a space that felt less “like it was in a hoe” and more open. A redesigned bluestone wall system was installed, with angled walls throughout the area to enhance both strength and visual interest.

In the side yard, we created a small private garden featuring a bluestone patio. Bluestone stepping stones were added to provide smooth and natural circulation through the site, tying the space together.
